I install the unit about 5-6 years ago it is now leaking from a silver plate at the bottom of the unit. It looks like I can remove the plate and maybe install a gasker of some sort not sure it will work. Or do I replace the unit. This is my second unit I never had to replace the first one, I moved to a new house. I have the same problem with my Badger 5 plus. I checked out one of those do it yourself books and determined that there is a gasket that could be replaced. I'm going to remove the unit, take it apart, and see if i can get to the gasket to replace it. I'll let you know what i find.
