My jet tub does nothing when I press the switch. I have checked the plug and it has power. Is there a reset button somewhere? The house is only two years old and the jet tub has only been used about six times, therefore I feel it is something simple. My tub is a kohler jet tub
First, disconnect the air hosing from the back of the pump. Reconnect a new vinyl hose to the back of the pump, and blow into the other end. If your pump turns on/off by doing this, see 'A," if not, see "B."
A. The electronic switch in the pump is good, and there is a problem with the air switch or vinyl tubing. The vinyl tubing could be kinked or the air bellows has failed.
B. The electronic switch in the pump is bad, the capacitor is bad, or some other electronic part of the pump is bad. Buying a capacitor or an electronic switch is of course a cheaper fix than to replace the entire pump.
Note - There will be a air tube from that switch to a device on the pump. If for some reason that hose is broken allowing air inside the tube, then it will not activate the switch on the pump.
