On the Capresso tea kettle, the blue light on the control knob should remain on until the required temperature. Instead, the blue light flashes and the water does not heat. The kettle IS properly seated on its base. I use filtered water from my refrigerator dispenser, so sediment is not a problem. Many thanks.
