My Jura Impressa C5 does not descale, automatically or manually. If I try the latter by pushing the descale button, all three upper button start flashing, instead of just the middle, with the coffee residuals
Dont worry about what that bloke said. I have just had the same problem - the machine thinks it has a filter in it so take it out and follow the manual to deactivate the filter. You will now be able to rin the descale.
My manual has only instructions for activating the filter, none for deactivating. Any suggestions or instructions would be very appreciated. Thanks! My manual has only instructions for activating the filter, none for deactivating. Any suggestions or instructions would be very appreciated. Thanks!
I had this problem, spent awhile on the phone with Jura to get it fixed. Your Jura will not descale if it believes there is a Clearyl Filter in use. You have to convince it there is no filter (basically by resetting to the factory specifications and going through the initial setup again) and then make sure that the water hardness level is set correctly.
Hello Fellow Espresso Maker You will need to purchase a descaling powder from an authorized service company. We recommend espresso parts.com or your favorite parts supplier. We also recommend descaling 3 times then group cleaning with purocaf 3 times then test your machine. You can also descale through the rinse cycle in some machines with the descaling powder. Hope this helps
