My kaspersky needs a product key, i have a product key once used in ma computer. but after reinstalling windows when i went for installing the anti virus again,found that the anti virus(kaspersky anti-virus 2010) is not supporting the product key which i got with the package

Let me explain you what happened.
when you registered it ihe online internet server checked your key and registered you as an authentic user.
after formatting your pc this registry key was deleted from your pc on the other hand the kaspersky server has already noticed that your key is in use but you have lost it from your pc.
the only thing you can do is to contact costumer care , report the problem and ask for the key replacement.
