My Kenmore washer fills correctly and then agitates. But it won't stop filling to then switch to the rinse cycle
I can stop it filling and manually turn the dial to make it do the rinse cycle. I've tried it on different load levels. Small to large and that has so effect. Mod # 20902990

Your wash machine doesn't know that the tub is full. Open up your console and look for a vinyl tube attached to your water level switch. Take the tube off of the switch and blow into the tube to clear out any blockages. Then, put the tube back on and test the wash machine. If the problem persists, then you need to replace your water level pressure switch AND the vinyl tube (just in case it has a small hole in it somewhere along the way).
