My kenwood kac-929 1000w amplifier is not powering my sub
I recently got a new sub(fosgate p3) for my car and my amp will not power it. I thought it was the sub (even tho the sub is comparable with my amp) so I hooked up the old sub and got the same results. I can feel the sub hit very lightly it's so light the cone doesn't even vibrate. When the brass hits in a song the light on the amp fades a litle and the comes back. I would like to no how I can fix the amp even if it requires taking it appart.

Unless you are a technician do not mess with the amplifier.
it takes years of school to learn electronics. unless it is a blown fuse or something simple,you will never fix it.
i did kenwood warranty for 8 years and the amplifiers are difficult to repair.
