step 2. right click your windows installation drive (usually 'c' drive)
step 3. select 'properties'
step 4. click on 'tools' tab then click on 'check now' under the error checking option.
step 5. select both the option given ( "automatically fix file system error" and "scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors"). now click on 'start' . step 6. you will be prompt to " schedule disk check". click it and restart your system.
Now windows will start checking your disk for errors n fix it automatically.
