My lcd monitor says no signal then turn off then orange light cums on iav plug my blue lead in to my lap top and the monitor but there is a line in bit at the back what goes into that and where does that go to

Yes that 15 pin connector is called as vga connector it is present in laptop at back when lcd of laptop is not working then that display can be seen by connecting external monitor at vga connector
