Remove the battery and any other peripheral device connected to the computer. Hold the power button for 10-15 seconds and then connect only the AC Adapter and try to turn ON the computer. If that does not work it it possibly a faulty DVD rom. if you remove it the computer may boot back up normal.Very common issue on these.
