My LG refrigerator loses all power and stops running. But when I smack the top of it (where the control panel is located) it powers up and starts running again. What could the problem be?
It is a total power shutdown when this happens. Even the lights stop running. I took off the cover and looked at the control panel and all of the wires and connectors look to be properly attached.

Get in a technician as there could be a loose electronic item( dry joint in the solder) or a crack across the printed circuit board
