In cases like this ... the best advice is reboot. You say it will not turn off. Have you held the power button down for as long as 2 minutes? Give this a try. Why not, it is free to do this! Next, if you have access to the battery compartment, open it and remove the battery. Wait five minutes or more then return the battery to the battery compartment and secure. MAKE SURE IT IS IN PROPERLY! Power your device back on to see what happens.
If it is still the same, the only thing you can do is contact the vendor or manufacturer. Being just over one month old, there must be some type warranty on it. If it were me, I believe I would take it to the vendor to see what they can do ... look very sad when you go. If they give you any grief, make some noise.
I think if you can do as I suggest, your device will return to its normal operation.
Thanks for your interest in FixYa.com today and good luck with your device.
I had to have my original Literati replaced. I had no problem with customer service. The send me the box to send it back in and already affixed with a UPS label. The new one they sent me is so much better. I did have it freeze but pushed the reset button and it came right back. I have to say I ready to panic after the first Literati that I had.I had to have my original Literati replaced. I had no problem with customer service.
