My mac does not send print to the kyocera 7040cdn - rather than print the document I send it prints a whole load of code about the detail in the file - the fonts etc...and takes about 12 mins to print
Typically this kind of behavior when printing indicates that either the print driver is not compatible or corrupt, or the print job contains incompatible PJL commands that the printer cannot interpret. If it worked previously, try printing a different document first as the best first troubleshooting step. If it fails as well, then I would uninstall and reinstall the print driver. Check the manufacturer's website for the current recommended driver.
When you state test print, are you referring to a test print from the control panel of the printer?
