My Mackie SRM-450's both make excessive white noise, one of them crackles quite loudly
I talked to Mackie today, all my settings and volume levels are perfect, no burns on the pre-amp circuit board. Speaker 1- Hums when nothing is plugged in, Not noticeable to anyone until I point it out. The Signal present light is ALWAYS on even when no XLR is plugged in. The subwoofer doesn't seem to give it's all, unless I adjust the bass settings on my mixer, while my other speaker gives alot of bass with no adjustment Speaker 2- Crackles, Hums out of the horn even when music is playing, get's worse when you jiggle the XLR input. Diaphragm is not damaged, Amp has yellow spots on the tiny white boxes (on the circuit board, don't know what they are lol) has that cigarette yellow on it. Any help is greatly appreciated! Cheaper options first please! And I don't know electrical terms so talk to me like your grandma as much as you can please! Thank You!!! (:
