There is no physical issue with the fridge i believe the problem to be electrical or in the computer of the machine. The freezer is always holding steady at -18 and the fridge is at 3 degrees, no frost is building up and the door seals etc are fine. The door alarm (3 beeps) constantly happens. I just need to find a way to remove the alarm so i can stop the beeping which is starting to turn me insane. The waranty is expired now and i don't want to get an engineer in if i can do it myself if i can help it. In short the fridge freezer works perfectly i just need to stop the beeping, It randomly starts every so often i press silence on the alarm button and about 30 - 40 seconds later it starts again, i silence the alarm about 20 times every hour of the day. The fridge is tilted back on the legs and i have tried putting a strap around the fridge to make sure the door seals are working properly. i have defrosted the freezer and cleaned it thoroughly inside and out, left it off and unplugged for 24 hours to do a hard reset. Have changed the door seal proffessionally but nothing is working... I would like to locate and remove the alarm part of the machine if possible as the tempreture is perfect and its a good machine, i am smart enough to see when the door is open :p and it has child locks on it so it is always shut properly and locked in place. Could someone please tell me where the alarm is and how to get at it and remove it in some way shape or form? Sorry for the long explanation but i wanted to provide all the facts. thanks
