My monitor keeps going on and off. It will be off
My monitor keeps going on and off. It will be off for about 3 or 4 seconds then go on for about second and then to off again. I've checked the cords and the power source and they are all connected correctly and working.

You could have a faulty inverter board. The inverter supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp/s, these lamps are mini fluro tubes approx 1,5mm dia. and the length of the screen.
Check the inverter output/inverter board and you maybe able to get service, parts and DIY info from
