Check the cord connection between the monitor and the computer (always check physical connection first, ie...replace the cord) if that doesn't solve the problem install any software that came with the monitor and or check the monitor manufacturer's website for any fixes for such an issue. Then move on to the video driver to see if it needs to be updated.
