My motorola razor V3 cel fone took a bath, I dried it out for 3 weeks and everything works except the microphone (no one can hear me). What to do? Can I repair it myself with a drop-in module? Is it worth repair by a pro? If unrepairable, is there a market for the used unit, i.e. battery etc??
Open up the phone and clean the panel with a cotton bud and little methylated spirit also see that the mouthpiece is aligned with the mouthpiece hole on your phone case
If this does not solve the problem then the best solution is to get an expert to change the mouthpiece for you
Hi,it seems the mouthpiece is bad and need to be replaced, its repairable but,i"ll advice you consult a pro for the repair of your phone because some components that work together with the mouthpiece on the motherboard of the phone might also have been affected, which might be unknown to you which my lead to severe problems in the nearest future.
