My MZ-7 died with following symptoms: - First it moved film with delay forward. - Then it stopped to work leaving display active (independent of power switch position). - Changing batteries caused display back light to be always on and nothing else happens

Hi there,
First of all you try to reset your camera as factory default.
if further you have the same problem it means it need a control chip repair.

Remove the battery for more than 5 hrs. this helps you to reset the camera.
