My NAD C720 BEE has been unused for some time and when I turned it on today the standby light stays amber and won't produce any sound. It worked the last time it was used. Ideas?

Open up the unit and blow out all the dust and fibers that have accumulated. Pay particular attention to the microprocessor. It is a 1 by 2 inches by 1/8" thick , flat black component with many legs. I hope this solves your problem
