The nav software needs to be reloaded with the Operating system at this point I would call the manufacture and have these programs sent to you as the only way I reckon to get rid of this error is reinstalling the OS and the maps,

That is fine. We are here to help you in any way possiable we may have overlooked that portion we handle more products then meets the eye here I am sure there is some room for error?
If there out of business what you going to need to do then is bring this to a loacal tech or any online gps tech that has this firmware on archive so you can get it from them :)

If the manufacture is out of business, as I have seen you post many times, then you cannont update the nav cam and you will have to purchase a newer one. That is the only way you will have new updated maps and all other updates. Well first of all you can try to reset your GPS to the factory default settings, hardware reset switch on the bottom is in the correct position it needs to be towards the center of the unit you can slide it with a paper clip. if further you have the same problem then you need to upgrade the firmware of your GPS. just go to nav-cam website and download the firmware..... Please post comments if you need more help or information.........

You will need to update the software. You can get the update from the manufacture's website
