My Neptune model MAH4000AWW, Ser No 42307533wu will not spin. I purchased this new. The door lock light also does not come on now. We were running some extra extract rinse and since then it has not worked. Can I repair this myself?
You can but you will need to have some patience. First you will need to remove the screws on the console area holding the back panel on. Once these screws are removed you should be able to kind of roll the console toward you and this will give access to the board. What you will need to do then is to inspect the board very carefully to see if there is a burned area on one of the resistors. Usually located on the R-11 resistor kind of in the middle area of the board. It will be marked R-11. If this is burnt you will have to replace the board along with the wax motor in the door latch assembly. The board is part number 22002989 and runs around 300.00. Let's hope the board is not burnt anywhere then you will just have to replace the wax motor on the door latch assembly. The wax motor is part number 22002119 at about 25.00. To do this you will have to open the door and on the hinge side remove the screws securing the hinge to the cabinet. Then on the opposite side remove the other 2 screws. Remove the door and set aside and then pull front panel toward you. Set panel aside and then using 5/16 nut driver or ratchet remove 2 screws right at the top under the top 1 on each side that keep the top down. With these out of the way you now open the dispenser on top and using phillips screw driver remove 4 screws holding the detergent dispenser to the machine and then set dispenser assembly aside. Now you should be able to lift the top and gain access to the lid switch assembly and the wax motor. Good luck and take your time. You can do this just don't get frustrated. Good luck and hope this helps. Rick
I am not sure either. This is my 1st month with them and if it is like any of the other sites you should be able to cancel after this 1 transaction. I don't know what they are charging people for the service either. I am an active technician in the Florida panhandle and am using this as an extra source of income. The techs here don't ever see any information such as that. Wish I could help more but seems like you can cancel with no further charges. Thanks, rick

The front loader use less water and you are able to wash more. The key is the savings in water and electric used during the dryer run time. The final spin is so fast that the dryer has to work less which in turn let's the dryer have a longer working life.
