My new ec50 is clogging frequently. Is at 18 psi
I am opening my pool for the season and my new ec50 1.5 hp is clogging frequently. Is at 18 psi after de is added. When pressure reaches around 23 which is after about two hours the filter stops working effeciently.I then bump the filter and it starts working properly only to clogg again in an hour or two. I don't believe the system is taking in enough material to clog so quickly. Am I doing something wrong? What psi is the filter intended to be running at.

Lower the better (psi) this means the water is flowing fast through the filter, high pressures means it's time to clean filter again. keep cleaning until the pool is squeaky clean, then you can go back to cleaning once a week
