Initially, a possible workaround if you would consider/try is to unplug the unit for an extended period of time, invert the unit (bottom side up), plug back in and try again.
Offhand, tray loading/eject is a mechanically accomplished. Having said this, then almost always, the problem would be with the loading mechanism. Determine if there is a whirring sound heard or felt when the OPEN/CLOSE button on the machine is pressed. This could either be a slipping, cut or dislodged loading belt or gear. Repairs would then require that the unit be opened up. Options then are:
consider a DIY (do-it-yourself) repair if and only if very familiar with electronic components & circuitry, use of a DVM/VOM, a soldering iron/station and safe working practices with electrically powered devices. Access to a Service Manual or at the very least, a schematic diagram would be a necessity;
should you be uncomfortable with a DIY, perhaps your best bet would then be to seek the services of an authorized Service Center (specially since the unit would presumably be under some form of warranty) or a qualified professional;
return unit to place of purchase and require a replacement.
Please note that merely opening the unit for a look & see would make the warranty null and void.
