My new Yamata FY5318 will not change stitch length with dial. The stitch length seems to be set at 3mm. Is there a internal adjustment? How is it fix ?
I found the problem, the Feed Regulator #41 in parts book was not allowing the Dial stitch screw #59 adjust the stitch length. T removed the lock pin screw #65 and ran the machine at high speed while turning the dial. After a few minutes the stitch length adjustment started working. This worked for me..but may not be the fix for stitching errors.
