My Olympus 7010 is fully charged. When I turn the camera on ready to shoot a picture, the card reader light blinks and the camera shuts off. Camera works fine in menu and edit modeds so it is not the battery or the contacts. Only shuts down when in camera mode. Advice ?

I fixed the problem by pushing the lens just a bit from the side when turning the camera on.
Its electronic cicuit failure so get it to olympus service
sir, u have warrety so see the authirised service.
Rather than circuit failure, atleast on my case, it was just mechanically stuck.
