My oven gets too hot. flame doesn't shut down
I have a smaller size stove due to the amount of available space. No matter what temp I set it to it just keeps getting hotter and hotter. I set it to 350 and waited for it to heat up. When I went ot put my brownies in it seemed to hot so I used my thromometer and seen the temp was 425. I figured the thermostat was off so I reset the temp to 250 and when I checked again it was hotter still. no matter what I did the flame never shut down. Would this be the thermostat causig the problem ???

The problem is the temperature probe has failed. This is inexpensive usually and easy to replace. This link should help
