After returning from the beach last week, I attempted to use my camera several days later. Now, when I attempt to turn it on, the lens comes out, attempts to focus, the camera beeps a few times, and then the lens retracts and the camera turns itself off. The camera did not get wet nor was it dropped. Could fine sand particles or something similar cause this?
Is there anything I can do myself to correct the problem?
