MY PHYSICIANS ARE DICTATING ON VW260 AND IT SOUNDS FINE ON THEIR MACHINE, WHEN IT IS SENT UP TO THE TRANSCRIPTIONIST WHO IS ALSO USING A VW 260. THE SOUND IS VERY LOW AND AND HARD TO UNDERSTAND. THE EQUIPMENT BEING USED IS ABOUT 4 YEARS OLD

A few questions about the unit. Does the Voicewriter use a compaq flash card or does it use a physical tape or cassette to record?
If it uses a tape I need to know the cassette type standard or mini ect
