My Pioneer PL-560 constantly plays at a speed that is far too fast. It does not change speeds if I switch from 33 to 45. I have tried adjusting the fine-tune screws but to no avail. Can I fix this?
The switch thats from 33 - 45 is called a variable control.. That needs to be replaced,, or the gear it controls must have slipped out.. just open it up,, pop it over and you'll see what i mean when you look at the switch.
you'll need to change the entire switch part then.. gears are a bit complicated if you dont understand much about how it works.. Change the part you'll be fine!!
