Computers & Internet - EliteGroup - Via P4M266A (P4VMM2 V7.3) Motherboard
On the desktop right-click on My Computer and click Properties or open the Control Panel and double-click the System icon.
In the System Properties window click the Hardware tab.
In the Hardware tab click the Device Manager button.
Then on left side Search for Yellow question mark on Ethernet controller if it occurs than the problem is that you have to reinstall your LAN drivers which can be Downloaded here And If there is no Yellow Question Mark then you have to bring a LAN card and insert in PCI Express Slot.
Have you disable your Lan port. If you did, you will have to enable it agian in the network coonection via right click and enable/disable your Lan card. If you don't see your LAN card connection, ( should be there in the list even if it' enable or disabled. If it is there, you will need a driver for it to be functionally correctly. If there isn't any listing and you said your i/o ports in the back is not working, then your motherboard is bad, and you may need to set default setting in your bios menu to see if it works. If nothing, then maybe consider replacing your board, or getting an LAN network card and installing it via PCI.
Start by making sure you have the latest BIOS for your machine (link to ECS download site): http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Downloads/Downloads_Driver_Detail.aspx?MenuID=61&LanID=0&detailid=46#Download-1
You may have to go into the BIOS setup when you start up the machine and enable the onboard LAN ports.

Hi,
Please setup bios and eneble the onboard lan,
download lan driver ,install thec driver,
If the problem is same please install a PCI LAN card for use the RJ45 .I think PCI LAN card can automatically recolonize your OS .
Hope this helps,
