My power source is not doing anything! I've checked my cord, and it has full power, but I'm getting no "juice" from the system when it's plugged! I'm going to replace the power source for this Acer, but I'm not sure the proper size and ampage to purchase. Also, would a larger power source be able to fit and support more peripherals? If so, what would be recommended for a better computing experience?

Never use a different power source than the original, if you were to get another that fits with a higher voltage and/or ampage you risk damaging the PC itself. If not already as there has been know issues with these models failing, best solution if still under warrranty is to replace the system, if not only chance is checking the current power cord you have and it should say on there the right voltage and amp settings, and check for the +/- take a note of these and apply these to the a universal power adapter... you'd be looking something like this http://www.acerdirect.co.uk/Batteries_and_Chargers/cat.asp
The PSU must be EXACT or it will damage the unit. Also the "Polarity" of the plug MUST be correct too. That is why it is always best to get the Acer one... But in saying that usually they are usual 9 - 12 volts at 4 - 5 Amps.
