There will be 1 of the paper sensors that is jammed, so that the printer thinks that there is paper in the area. You will need to follow the paper flow and check that all the sensors are moving freely. I had a feather from a feather duster suck in a printer holding a sensor wiper open. took me ages to find the problem.
