My printer displays ribbon error. but there is ribbon inside
From the help button ,it suggest that the identification tag is not recognized. the ribbon is very new . I have not printed even twenty cards out of the five hundred.

You can change which ribbon type is installed in the printing preferences of the printer driver.
make sure you have the right ribbon type selected.
CYMTKO vs. CYMTO, etc.
There is also a button that will auto detect the ribbon right underneath the pulldown menu.
Hi i have printer dtc550
and i have problem in ribbon, after start the printer Appears on the LCD " error no ribbon installed " but the ribbon is new in the printer , "info msg invalid ribbon error " after print tast image from menu the printer .can you help me how can i fix it.
