My problem is weeds in my asparagus bed. I have been told that after harvest, I can use Roundup to kill the weed growth. I would like to have the instructions to do this. I do not want to harm the asparagus for next year. Please advise. Thank you, Yvonne

The current Roundup formula effects the plants through absorption into the leaves. The easiest way is to simply wait for the asparagus to die back completely for the season before applying the herbicide. As the asparagus is dormant and without leaves the herbicide will not be absorbed and will not effect it.
