My ps3 starts but wont go to the home menu. the green and blue lights are on but it just doesnt go to the home. it stays at a green screen with the wave going through it. i tried to hard reset and pulled the plug and nothing

You might need to Reset it fully, just turn it on so you see the red, than hold the power button until you hear a beep. Follow the instructions! if this doesnt work you can also try turning everything off for a day and turn it on! But the restarting one usually helps most poeple!
