My rainbow tipped over and water got in the motor. I dried it out but it still won't work. Is there a fuse or anything that I have to reset? Suggestions?
Vacuums - Rainbow - E series Canister Wet/Dry Vacuum
The only thing I can tell you is that there is a thermal overload switch in the E series models. The water could have damaged it. As far as water getting into the motor itself it is very difficult to dry a rainbow out because they are so sealed. It has probably rusted the field coils, bearings, and possibly destroyed the motor. Take it to a vac repair shop and hope for the best. OH. was your rainbow turned on or off? If on it should not have hemorrhaged water into the motor chamber.
