My range is making a siren (high pitched) sound. The control panel is not lit, but I can get heat on the burners. Kenmore Range Model 911.6408810. Unfortunately I can't put my hands on the owner's manual to troubleshoot and the web doesn't pull one up

Hello- Gas valves sometimes find a flow rate or valve position that can cause noises from hums to screeches. However- if control is out, gas valve won't function normally anyway. Had trouble with mod # provided above to check on parts but control if still available runs around 250$ Gas regulator around 100$. Hope this helps. Thanks- ED
