I have had two CDMix 2 and now a CDMix3 each time a draw has falied. On the CDmix2 I understand it is something to do with laser recalibration, but now I have Tray Error on the Mix3 (always been the left draw!!).
This will make me change to a SD card or USB drive mixer player.
Hi I have the CD-Mix 1 unit and my left hand disk tray is doing exactly as you describe, i have dismantled the whole thing and tested out and looked at as much as i can and everything seems okay. It's almost like something isn't quite lining up properly when the disk tray is closed because I have found that pulling down the tray door and using my thump to hit the right hand side of the tray itself eventually gets the disk spinning. The main issue is that when you hit the unit so hard the cd playing in the other tray skips as you would probably expect...But at least this information might at least let you spin up one and then fade/mix with the other afterwards. If you do find out the exact issue, please email me at [email protected] Thanks!
