My roommate borrowed my bike and brought it back broken. Then brakes do not work - I know nothing about repairing them. Part of the brakes - the cable that goes to the right side is hanging to the ground. How are they supposed to be put on? Please Help?

If the knob is still on the end of that brake cable, then you just need to tighten your rear brakes by squeezing on them and pull the cable taught... you should then be able to just slide the cable into a lil groove on the handle lever and slip the knob back into the hold on the bottom of the handle lever
