My rowenta steamer has stopped steaming, it's a is6100, Ive had it for about 2 years.. I have rinsed out the bottom where the water tank connects with the bottom. I've noticed several black particules coming from out of this. I have disconnected the hose and rinsed this making sure there is not a blockage in the hose

Having the same issue, if you have found a solution short of buying a new one, please share it...I am thinking surely there is a reset button but have not found it yet.
