My saab 9.5 starts but doesnt run the engine!
How much does a fuel pumper cost in saab 9 5? beause the the mechanic says it will cost me 1069 to see if fixing the fuel pump will start the car when he diagnosed it.

The pump comes as a complete unit from autozone for about $470. You should be able to gain acess under the rear seat to replace the pump. What you can do is remove the rear seat(making sure there is in fact an acess panel) and the trun the key adn see if you can hear the feul pump prime the system. If not, turn the key again and "smack" the pump assembly and see if it kicks on. If it does, replace it. If not it would be a good idea to get someone to jump it with the harness disconnected and see if it comes on or you can take a chance and replace it. It could fix it.
