Actually, and oddly...if you turn the radio on and tune in to the am band (doesn't matter where) you can scroll through the SELE-AL options. Stop pressing the button when you decide which way you want James Earl Jones to YELL YOU AWAKE!
When you set the alarm, turn the volume button on the front counter-clockwise (volume down) until it clicks. Darth will then wake you with one of three extremely LOUD, over-modulated soundbites or the electronic "beep-beep-beep" alarm . You can select the different soundbites/alarm with the "SELE-AL" button on the back. The only problem is, you can't tell which one you've selected until the alarm goes off. Cheap design.
