Are you getting an error code ? If not the only time I have seen this is when my daughter crammed too much in her washer and it was to much weight to spin the gear was stripped out. Is there a lot of laundry in the washer, how old is the unit and lastley, less is more meaning your clothes do not get clean if you put tooo much in the washer, imagine how heavy the weight of all those wet clothes are. I would try unpluggling the unit hopefulling hitting the power first it should drain the water so the door will unlock, then remov some of the clothes.
