My scanjet 5590 was working ok, but suddenly when I scan either from the adf or flatbed it doesn't scan the document. The result is nothing, a few vertical lines or small sections of the document shows in the pdf file. I am not really sure if is a software or hardware problem. I really like the scanner, but I am afraid that it's a mechanical problem and its going to cost a lot of money to repair. Can someone help me with my problem, I will appreciate it a lot. Thank you.
