My Schwinn 140 Biofit comfort stationary bike has no resistance. It feels like the chain is off the chain ring. The pedals are loose and have no resistance. How do I fix this? Do I need to open the body and put the chain back onto the chain ring?

Loosen front tyre, ease chain on. re-tighten when taught tension. easy, might consider lube and cleaning chain while your there.
