My scooter smells like rubber..it never has before .it's coming from the rear end as far as I can tell.could this be the belt?if so how can I tell what may have caused this if notwhat could it be?
When I first noticed this I was only on a short ride. Before I smelled the rubber I notice an unusual vibration while riding I cant see or feel anything loose.it never did this before and I don't want to mess it up by riding anymore until I can fix it

There is nothing else but the belt that can cause this.
