Just had the same problem with my copperhead... firstly go to url below to show you how to open up the copperhead (only do this if it's out of warranty!! which is two years if you have your purchase recipt) http://razerblueprints.net/index.php/Copperhead/copperhead-disassembly-guide.html . Once you have got the top off look at the front where the wheel attaches you can pull the wheel out of the circular thing on the left then find some thin paper I used some laser receipt paper (probably gonna wear out but will find something better in meantime) cover the hole with a very small square of whatever thin material you have chosen then push the axle of the wheel back in... this tightens the hole back up allowing the clicking feel to come back and the scroll wheel to work again. Ultimately the problem is wear and tear with the hole for the axle or the shape of the axle end wearing down.
Just try the mouse on another computer just to make sure its definatly the mouse and also try putting it in other usb connectios...if it is the mouse there is nothing you can do besides take it back because if you try and open it..you void your warrenty..how old is the mouse?have you dropped it or anything?
