My sennheiser hdr 130 has no sound even though it has lights on its based and it is connected to my t.v. what is the cause of this problem and the solution?

This worked for me (this solution was posted on another thread). Unplug the base and take out the headset batteries. Wait 30 seconds. Reconnect. Turn on head set. I could hear immediately!
This worked for me too, but I had to play around with the channels a bit first before it started working.
