My Sennheiser T40 wireless transmitter for RS45 headphones, suddenly stopped working and no green light. I unplugged and replugged it in with no joy. Battery charging light is working. Many thanks
Have you tried the other channels on the transmitter? Will the transmitter not power up at all? Is this the 863 MHz version or 925 MHz version ( not that it matters one is 2 channel the other is 3 channel) Have you replaced the rechargeable battery in the headphones themselves?
Hello, sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I will have to think about this one. Without actually having the transmitter I wouldn't be able to tell if it or the headphones don't work. If you happen to know anyone with a spectrum analyzer you can see if the transmitter works haha. I have one on my bench but I have a feeling you live a good distance away. I will think about this and get back to you. In the meantime if another expert has a better suggestion by all means. Take care talk to you soon.Hello, sorry for not getting back to you sooner. It is a definite possibility that the plug has been damage at the strain relief. This happens with use over time you just cannot avoid it. I don't remember if this is an 1/8 inch plug or 1/4 inch plug however what you can try is moving the cable arround while it is plugged in to your source output. If you hear any audio or crackling in the headphones that woul be your problem. You can purchase a solder on version of these connectors you just have to cut the old molded plug off and strip the wires. Take note of which wires are which. There should be 3 bundled together, two are for stereo (left and right) and the other is ground. These will correspond to the different rings on the plug itself. Let me know how this goes.
